North Saanich is a highly desirable rural-residential area. Its long coastline on three sides affords many housing sites with excellent views of water, islands and mountains. Sidney by the Sea is situated within the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ People along the shores of the Salish Sea on the Saanich Peninsula, amidst the Gulf Islands. In close proximity to the Swartz Bay Ferry terminal and the Victoria International Airport, Sidney is a 20-minute drive to downtown Victoria, BC’s capital city. 

It is one of the 13 municipalities within the Victoria Census Metropolitan Area. A scenic 3.6-kilometre waterfront walkway, a historical museum, the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea Aquarium, a Fishing Pier and a vibrant downtown boutique shopping district are among its amenities.

Central Saanich is a friendly and active community spanning the middle of the Saanich Peninsula and the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, including the W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip) and SȾÁUTW̱  (Tsawout) First Nations. More than 17,000 residents call this beautiful area home. From Island View Beach on the east to the Saanich Inlet on the west, the region includes fantastic parks, nature trails and beaches, and boasts the highest concentration of agricultural production in the region.

Langford is a city on southern Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Langford is one of the 13 component municipalities of Greater Victoria and is within the Capital Regional District. Langford was incorporated in 1992 and has a population of over 40,000 people.
